How do I import contacts from MS Outlook™?
Step 1: Export Contacts from MS Outlook™
- Open Outlook and go to the File menu and select Import and Export...
- A window will open. Select Export to a file and click Next.
- Choose what file type to create. Choose Comma Seperated Values (Windows).
- Select the folder you want to export from. Most people will choose Contacts here unless you have customized where you store your contacts in Outlook.
- Click Next.
- Type in a filename for this file to be called. Something like johns-contacts and take note of where this file is saved.
- Click Finish.
Step 2: Importing a Comma Seperated Values (CSV) file into Zigtag
- Using the top navigation, select My Account > Address Book.
- Click the Import Contacts button.
- In the section Importing Contacts from CSV File,
Browse for the file you have just created with MS Outlook™.
- Select the file your-contacts.CSV and click Open.
The Address Book field is now populated with the location of the CSV file.
- Click the Import button directly below the Address Book field.
- Read through the list and confirm, with checkmarks, which contacts you wish to import into Zigtag. Click Import at the bottom of the list.
- Done. Within minutes you should receive an email from do-not-reply@zigtag.com confirming that these contacts have been imported.
